One two and a half day job gives you the shape of it. Dillon and the crew pruned every existing tree on the property, took one large tree out and ground the stump, gave a second large tree a habitat prune so it could stay standing with its hollows intact, cleaned the whole place up and left the owner a decent pile of firewood. On the big removals the rigging and the machinery earn their keep. Our climbers work on rope access, and heritage giants, wind thrown gums and the pine that has come down across a driveway all come out in controlled pieces with debris containment screens up where there is something below worth protecting. Behind the climbers sit the chippers, excavators, spider lifts and elevated work platforms. Everything that comes down is processed on site into mulch or wood chips, and the stump grinding that follows is done with tight access grinders through a narrow side gate or heavier machines where a block is being levelled for landscaping.

Pruning here is cut to AS 4373, with growth point cuts and crown thinning that balance a canopy and leave the tree stronger for it. We do palm cleaning as well, stripping the dead fronds and seed pods and trimming the trunk back to a clean snake skin finish.
