From Emerald we run out as far as Longreach in one direction and Clermont in the other, and take in everything between. Emerald Tree Services is a family owned business led by Ben and Nikki, with more than thirty years of combined experience behind it, and the arborists on the crew are certified to Level 2 and Level 3. Homeowners, commercial clients, agribusinesses and local councils all get the same crew, and safety and environmental sustainability are built into how we plan a job from the first site visit onwards.

Tree removal takes out the hazardous and the unwanted safely, so nothing in the yard or the landscaping gets damaged on the way down. Where a tree does not need to go, lopping brings overgrown or dangerous branches back into line and encourages healthier growth, while regular pruning and trimming clears the dead and diseased wood so a tree keeps a balanced structure. Stump grinding and stump removal deals with whatever is left in the ground, which stops the regrowth and keeps the site clear for landscaping or construction.

Our qualified arborists handle land clearing as well, taking out trees, brush and debris to get a property ready for development. What comes off those jobs does not go to waste. We deliver sustainably sourced mulch and firewood across the region, so the timber ends up back on gardens and in fireplaces around the district. It is delivered straight to you, which saves a trip and a trailer.

There is a hire side to the business too. Our Raymond Grey EWP bucket truck reaches 21 metres up and 14 metres out with a full 360 degree turn, and it goes out on wet hire with a driver and a spotter included. The 1.8 tonne Caterpillar mini excavator hires the same way, and it is the machine for digging, site preparation and material handling where space is tight. Landscapers, builders and council crews hire both, and it is the same well maintained machinery we run on our own arboricultural jobs.

Emergency tree work is why the phone stays on around the clock. Storm damage and urgent tree problems get an immediate response, because a failed tree stays a hazard until somebody deals with it properly.
