We are climbers, which means we can often work a tree without bringing an elevated work platform up the driveway. Evergreen Tree Services is Terry and his son, working out of Hectorville. Terry has been a qualified arborist since 1997, and before Adelaide he was with the National Trust in the United Kingdom, working in the Royal Parks and open spaces as well as the private sector.

The work runs across tree removal and tree felling, tree pruning, tree lopping, and the removal of dead and dangerous trees that are past saving. Palm tree trimming and removals are a regular one, and so is hedge cutting, which comes up often in the eastern suburbs where the hedges are old and well over head height.

Stump removals and tree stump management tidy up what is left behind after a removal, and nothing needs to go to the tip: we do mulching and firewood from the timber that comes off a job, and you are welcome to keep the mulch for the garden.

Storm damage clean ups are part of it, and tree maintenance is there for when you would rather sort a tree out before it turns into a problem. A tree evaluation is a proper look over the tree and a straight answer on what it needs, and where one is worth keeping we will tell you so, because tree surgery is often a better answer than taking it out.

Our hedge cutters, chainsaws and pole pruners are battery powered where they can be, for less noise and a lighter footprint. We are a small family business, fully insured and going since 1997, and we work on a place as carefully as we would on our own, with as little mess left on the ground as we can manage. We cover the eastern suburbs and the metropolitan area, taking in Campbelltown, Magill, Norwood, Burnside, Rostrevor, Athelstone, Paradise, Walkerville, St Peters, Toorak Gardens, Glen Osmond, Golden Grove, Hope Valley and Klemzig, and we head up the hill to Stirling, Aldgate, Crafers, Bridgewater, Uraidla, Summertown, Norton Summit and Mount Lofty.
