Evo's Tree Lopping & Dingo Hire is run by Mark and Allison Eveleigh out of Gunnedah, in the north west of New South Wales. Mark, the Evo the business is named after, is a qualified Certificate III Arborist, and the two of them have been going for more than ten years. It is a family business with a plant list rather than a call centre, which is why the jobs on the books run from a single backyard gum to paddock work.

The tree side covers tree removal where something has turned into a hazard, gone diseased, or simply sits where a build is about to start, plus tree lopping and tree trimming on big trees, hedges and shrubs. Stump grinding takes out what is left afterwards, and mulching turns problem trees, shrubs and weeds into mulch that holds moisture in the garden and keeps the weeds down. You do not have to be home while the work is done.

Mark and his crew are accredited for emergency tree removal and lopping, and storm clean-up is a service in its own right rather than an afterthought. A tree across a driveway or leaning on a roof gets priority, which matters in a part of the state where a summer storm can shut a property off in an afternoon. The site is blunt about the risk: this is difficult and dangerous work, and the staff are trained for it.

The dingo hire half of the name is the other string. The dingo comes with three different sized auger attachments, a 4-in-1 bucket and a rotary hoe, and there is a chipper, a mulcher, a cherrypicker and a truck behind it.
