Ezi Cut Tree Services is open seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day, and the 24/7 emergency callout runs across the whole of that, including after hours. We are family owned and operated, we have been working out of Mittagong and across Bowral and the Southern Highlands since 2003, the team holds an AQF Certificate III in Arboriculture, and we are accredited to carry out work on NSW school grounds.

The tree removals we get called to take in the hazardous ones leaning towards a house, a fence or the powerlines, trunks split open in a storm, dead or diseased trees that have turned into a risk, overgrown natives crowding whatever is beside them, and trees that simply have to go before landscaping or building starts. One tree or a group of them, we inspect the site on its own merits and work out the approach that suits it, because a sloped Highlands block carrying a big established cool-climate species is not the same job as a flat suburban backyard.

Once the tree is gone, stump removal and stump grinding finish the site off. An old stump left in the ground brings pests, regrowth and a hazard nobody wants in the lawn, and the roots carry on interfering with the soil, the garden beds and anything built nearby, so we take it right out and leave ground you can turf or replant. Land clearing and vegetation management is the larger end of what we do, and the point of it is to take out what you do not want while keeping the plant life you do. We also handle tree pruning and felling, and we deliver firewood and mulch.

Every job runs the same way, so you know what is coming. We come out for an on-site inspection, give you a free quote and talk through whether a permit applies, since rural properties here fall under NSW Local Land Services while non-rural land sits with Wingecarribee Shire Council. Any approval is confirmed before the work goes in the diary. Then the tree comes down with equipment suited to the site, the debris is chipped, the timber is cut to length and we leave the place clean.
