Every prune we carry out follows Australian Standard AS4373, and the arborists doing it hold AQF Level 5 qualifications. Frontier Tree Services is celebrating over 30 years of tree maintenance and preservation on the Gold Coast, we're qualified members of the Queensland Arboriculture Association, and our work complies with both the association's guidelines and Gold Coast City Council's. Preservation gets equal billing with maintenance here, and that shows up in how we cut. Tree pruning and tree lopping keep a tree healthy, safe and in proportion, all of it to AS4373. Fronds and the dead material a palm builds up over a season get dealt with by our palm tree maintenance and cleaning.

When a tree is dead, dying or genuinely hazardous, tree removal takes it down and clears the debris with it, carried out in line with what Gold Coast City Council requires. Thirty years in the one region means we already know how the council handles an application on your street, and we work with that rather than around it. Stump grinding then takes the remainder out cleanly with modern grinding gear, so the ground can be replanted, turfed or paved over.

Trees go back in as well as coming out. Our tree planting covers choosing and establishing trees and woody plants that suit the site they are going into, and our mulch supply is repurposed from our own job waste, so the organic matter ends up back in local gardens. Over three decades that adds up to a lot of material that never saw a landfill, and it is one of the reasons preservation sits in our name for the work rather than in a marketing line.

Where the advice has to be on paper, our arborist reports are prepared by an AQF Level 5 arborist for owners, insurers and council applications. Body corporate tree management sets up ongoing care programs for strata and community title properties, where the trees outlast the committees looking after them.
