Since 1981 George's Tree Services has been sorting out tree and garden problems for Clarence Valley locals, which puts more than forty years behind the name. Our arborists hold Certificate IV in Horticulture and Arboriculture, we are fully licensed and insured, and we work out of South Grafton. Before a tree removal starts, our arborists establish a safe perimeter, so nobody gets hurt and nothing on your property gets damaged while the tree is coming down, and the complete clean up is part of the job rather than an extra. Our tree pruning takes out the branches that are dead, diseased or affecting your property in some way, including the ones growing dangerously close to the powerlines.

The service we would rather sell you is storm proofing, because it is the cheap one. We come and assess the trees on your place, then trim or remove anything that has become a hazard, before the weather makes the decision for us. A branch reaching toward a bedroom window is a straightforward job on a calm Tuesday and a very different job at two in the morning with the roof open to the sky. Taking a proactive approach to the harmful branches is the advice we give everybody who asks.

Once a tree is gone, stump grinding is a simpler, more cost effective and more practical answer than digging out the whole stump and root system. Our chipping and mulching puts wood chips and organic mulch over your garden beds, which holds moisture in the soil and keeps the weed growth down, and our garden maintenance handles the weeding, trimming and clean ups that keep a place tidy in between. We cover the Clarence Valley broadly, taking in Grafton, Yamba, Maclean, Iluka, Wooli, Minnie Water, Woolgoolga and out to Glen Innes.
