The size of the machine decides which jobs are possible, so we keep ours in a range of sizes. That is what lets a crew from Global Tree Works get through a side gate into a small back yard in the morning and work an open block being cleared for building in the afternoon. Family owned and operated out of Gympie since 2016, we work across the Gympie region with more than 30 years of combined experience across the team.

A job might be a gum that has outgrown a back yard or timber that has to come off a site before anything can be built on it, and our tree removals cover both, with the stump grinding behind them leaving ground you can mow, pave or plant. Where a tree is staying, tree pruning keeps the canopy balanced and off the roof. Palms get their own visit, and our palm removal and cleaning takes the fronds and seed pods down before they come away on their own and land on something. We take on land clearing from a house block through to larger site work, and the timber off those jobs goes through the chipper and comes back to you as mulch for the garden beds. When a council application or an argument over a boundary tree needs something in writing, we prepare arborist reports.

There is one job we do that has nothing to do with cutting. Every habitat box we hang is hand made by a local resident here in town and sells for $25 to $50 depending on size, and all the profit goes to Little Haven Palliative Care, also in Gympie. Our Diploma qualified arborist climbs up and fits the box properly, which means nobody has to drill a hollow into living timber, and a box put up that way gives nesting birds and fauna a home that bad weather is unlikely to destroy. Matthew has been in arboriculture for more than 16 years and is on the job himself, alongside Diploma qualified arborists and groundsmen who have done this work plenty of times. Away from the trees we put money back into local sides including the Gympie Netball Association and the Rainbow Beach Sports Club. Trading hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 3pm.
