Every habitat box we hang is hand made by a local here in Gympie, sells for between $25 and $50, and every dollar of profit goes to Little Haven Palliative Care in town. Our Level III arborist climbs the tree and fits it properly. Habitat boxes give birds and other fauna somewhere secure to nest without anyone drilling hollows into a living tree, and a box is unlikely to be knocked out by bad weather. Whether one suits your place depends on the trees you have got, so it is worth asking us when we are there.

Global Tree Works is family owned and operated out of Gympie. Matthew is one of our qualified arborists, he has more than 16 years behind him, and he is on site for every job we take on, not only the big ones. Working with him are diploma-qualified arborists and groundsmen who have done the work plenty of times before.

Tree removals take in the tree that has outgrown a back yard and the one that has to come out before a site can be built on. We carry machinery in a range of sizes, which is what lets us squeeze into a tight suburban yard one day and work across an open block the next. Where a tree is staying, tree pruning keeps the canopy balanced and off the house, and stump grinding clears out what is left behind so the ground can be used again.

Palm removal and cleaning deals with the fronds and seed pods before they come down on their own and land on something. If you need something in writing for a council application or a boundary dispute, we prepare arborist reports. Land clearing runs from a block being readied for building through to larger site work, and the timber that comes off it goes through the chipper and comes back as mulch for the garden beds.

We quote the same day wherever we can manage it. You get a price for the work in front of you, and the person who gave you that price is the one turning up with the gear to do it. If a job is going to need a council application or a report before anyone touches the tree, we will say so when we quote, so it is not a surprise to you three weeks later.
