This is a consultancy-minded practice rather than a cut-and-chip crew, and it says so in its own words: "Our arborists know the red gums from the blue. What it takes for foliage to flower. How to rid bark of stubborn pests. Why orientation matters to saplings' success." The pitch is aimed squarely at people managing trees as assets. "From the hundred-year-old eucalypt to the canopy of inner-city conifer, your leafiest assets are often your most valuable. And the easiest to overlook."

Every consultant on the team holds a Diploma in Arboriculture with additional training in risk assessments and project management, which is a meaningful bar to set across a whole team rather than a single principal. The guidance, the business says, is "backed by science, a genuine passion for arboricultural problem solving, and our extensive knowledge of relevant legislation". That last point is the practical one for anyone with a development in front of them, as the site notes that following the rules and regulations that apply to your project from the very beginning "can save you time, money and mental gymnastics, especially when working to tight deadlines".

The service range runs, in the site's phrase, from roots to crown. Tree assessments and reports cover risk assessment and the formal reporting a council or a client will ask for. Tree management extends that into tree management plans for a site over time. Hands-on work is covered by pruning and maintenance and by tree removal and stump grinding, applying, as the team puts it, "specialised techniques and practices to minimise harm and maximise safety" with consideration for the biological function and sustainable management of trees.

Two further services push past the standard list. Tree health, planting and soil deals with both diagnosis and what comes next: reading "the complex signs and symptoms of a tree in distress", and selecting the species most likely to thrive on a given property. Habitat creation is rarer still, being the deliberate making of hollows and habitat for wildlife in trees that might otherwise simply be removed.
