Harbour Arbor Tree Care is a locally owned outfit based in Shellharbour, working across the Illawarra with more than 20 years of horticulture experience behind it. Jason runs the business, and the site makes a point worth more than most claims a tree company makes: the same person who provides the quote is the one carrying out the work. No subcontracted crew turns up on the day having never seen the tree. Testimonials on the site name him directly, which is usually a sign the same bloke keeps coming back. The tagline, "we go out on a limb for service", sets the tone for copy that is friendly without overselling.

Tree removal is taken on where a tree is diseased, structurally unstable, or in the way of development. Pruning covers hazardous deadwood removal, canopy shaping and weight reduction, cut to AS/NZS 4373:1996, the Australian Standard for pruning amenity trees. Harbour Arbor also states it follows local government requirements and the WorkCover Code of Practice, which is the sort of detail that separates a qualified arborist from a bloke with a chainsaw and a ute.

Stump grinding is done mechanically rather than with chemicals, so the ground is left ready for replanting or landscaping once the stump is gone. Compact machinery keeps the mess down on tighter blocks. The waste side is covered too: wood chipping and mulch supply are on the list, and firewood sales run alongside them, so a good deal of what comes off one job goes back out as something useful rather than to landfill.

There is a consulting side as well. Arborist consultations and tree reports are available for anyone who needs a written assessment rather than a chainsaw.
