About This Business
Our little Avant 745 loader is bright green, articulates rather than skids to steer, and will sneak into a yard and do the heavy lifting with very minimal impact to ground surfaces. It is the reason iClimb Tree Solutions can finish even the largest of trees safely on a suburban block without leaving ruts across your lawn, and it has cut the manual lifting out of a job that used to be all back and shoulders. John Douglass is the name on the phone and on the email here, and the arborists working alongside him are certified, fully insured, and committed to Australian Safety Standards on every site we set up on.
Getting a tree out is rarely as simple as dropping it where it stands. Tree removal and tree felling are the tasks that take the most planning, and where there is no clear fall we bring in ropes, winches, hydraulic jacks and partial dismantling to bring the tree down in sections instead. Trees give subtle but identifiable signs of future failure, and risk reduction starts with reading those signs before a limb comes down on its own. Where the problem is structural rather than terminal, tree bracing gives a split trunk or a heavy union something to hold it together.
Plenty of trees do not need to come out at all. Tree pruning and deadwood removal open the canopy back up, take the weight off limbs that have run out further than they can carry, and clear branches back off a roof or a driveway. If you would rather have somebody look at what you have got before deciding anything, our arborist services cover exactly that, and we can pick up the garden maintenance around the trees while we are on site.
What comes off the job does not have to stay in your yard either. Wood chipping is an efficient way to minimise the volume of almost any tree, and running the chipper on site means the pile that used to be your tree leaves with us the same day.
We work out of Scottsdale in Tasmania's north east, with a second address at Prospect on the Launceston side, and between the two we cover Launceston and the whole of north east Tasmania. If a tree has come down or turned dangerous, emergency call outs are part of the service and you are not left waiting for the next available booking. Ring John or send an email through and we will come and have a proper look at it, tell you what it needs, and price the job before anything starts.
