If a tree has come down across your drive or been left hanging after a storm, we are on call at all hours. Irwin Clements Tree Service has been working on trees around Hobart for more than 35 years, and emergency tree work is a job we will take on at any time of the day or night. That covers fallen trees blocking a road, path or driveway, trees brought down or left half down by high winds, limbs sitting in overhead power lines, and rotten branches that have already started to let go.

Away from the storm calls, our climbers go up on ropes for tree climbing and pruning where there is no room to drop timber, and we take on tree felling where there is. Tree reduction and shaping brings a canopy back off a roof or a fence line without ruining the shape of the tree, dead wooding clears out the brittle limbs before they come down on their own, and where a tree is worth keeping but has a weak fork or a split we can fit cable and bracing.

Once a tree is out, we grind the stump below ground level, or use stump poisoning where grinding is not practical. We run a chipper on site and offer wood chipping and sales. We also handle insurance tree work, and we are happy to send you our insurance details before anyone starts. If you want a proper look at a tree before you decide what to do with it, we do consultancy and inspections as well.

Our arborists are licensed and we keep their training current, sitting in on industry safety workshops and conferences through the year. We don't economise on equipment either, so whether it's the biggest removal on the street or one small prune, we turn up with the gear to do it properly.

We cover greater Hobart and southern Tasmania: North Hobart, West Hobart, Battery Point, South Hobart, Sandy Bay, Taroona and Fern Tree, north to Glenorchy and Apsley, and south through Kingston, Blackmans Bay, Bonnet Hill, Huntingfield, Howden, Coningham, Barretta and Electrona.
