Out of Semaphore on Adelaide's western edge, we cover the metro area and run up into the Adelaide Hills, with more than 35 years of tree work behind us. Brian is the one who comes out to look at the job, so the person quoting you is the person doing the work. J & B Tree Services carries $30 million in liability insurance and the crew are licensed arborists, and we are happy to put the certificate in front of you before anything starts.

When a tree has to come down we section it out over fences, sheds and pools where there is no clear drop, then deal with the stump removal so the ground is ready to turf or plant again. Palm tree removal is a job of its own with its own gear, and we take that on as well, along with tree pruning to lift a canopy off a roof, pull it back from the powerlines, or bring a tree into shape after a rough season has knocked it about.

Not everything we get called out for is a tree. We run slashing and mowing on blocks and paddocks that have got away over winter, and we hire out a vacuum truck for the jobs where material has to be lifted out of a spot no truck and shovel is going to reach. If you want an arborist to look at a tree and tell you whether it is sound, safe or worth keeping, that is an assessment we will come out and make on site.

Every job starts the same way. We come out, look at the tree, walk you through what it needs and what it will cost, and give you a quote with no obligation attached to it. The work is done to arboricultural standards, and the site gets left tidy at the end, which is the thing customers mention back to us more than anything else.
