Just Trees

Some properties get quietly turned down. A steep site, a driveway too narrow for a truck, a big gum behind a house with no side access, and the quotes simply stop arriving. Those are the jobs Just Trees is equipped for: our 4x4 trucks and compact chippers get onto blocks that other operators have to drive past, and we work everywhere from the East Coast of Tasmania through the Hobart surrounds to the Huon Valley.

Where there is room, a tree can come down whole. Where there is not, our climbers dismantle it in sections and lower each piece over whatever happens to be sitting underneath, with the compact chipper working along behind so the site stays clear while we go. Taking a big tree out of a suburban Hobart backyard is a slow, deliberate business, rope and cut and lower and repeat, until there is nothing left standing that you need to think about. We grind the stump out afterwards, or take it out entirely if that is what the ground needs, and site clearing handles the jobs where a whole block has to come back to bare earth.

If the tree is staying, tree pruning and shaping and deadwooding keep it safe and under control, cable and bracing holds up the valuable ones that have started showing faults, and power wire clearing deals with branches that have grown into the service lines. Hedge and garden trimming covers hedges of any height, and a good number of our customers have us back for the same hedges every year. Green waste is chipped on your property, anything from foliage up to branches of firewood size, and you decide whether the mulch stays on the garden beds or leaves with us. It is the cheapest way to deal with the pile a day's tree work makes, and we sell mulch as well if you need more than your own trees produced.

Alongside the private work we look after the commercial end: insurance companies, real estate agencies, body corporates, golf courses and schools. Our arborists are fully qualified, the business is fully insured, and every job is performed in line with Australian Safety Standards on equipment that is modern and kept maintained.
