We are members of Arboriculture Australia and insured to protect you, your property and our staff, and the office will send certificates of currency across if you want to see them before anyone starts. We are EVOEnergy accredited, the process that confirms a company holds the skills, training, resources and insurance to work near power lines, and our climbing and rigging equipment is inspected and audited to the electricity network requirements. The trees that need the most attention are very often the ones tangled up in the wires. Tree removal runs from one garden tree at a time through to a full clearance, and we get to them by high tree climbing or on boom lift access, whichever the site allows. Confined urban blocks are normal working conditions for us, not the exception.

Tree pruning and thinning is a skilled method, and while our arborists are up in the canopy they will pick out anything damaged, dead, non-productive or structurally unsound. Where you need the decision in writing, we carry out tree assessments and arborist reports. Council requirements shift from one area to the next, so if you are unsure whether your tree needs a permit, ask us. We can lodge the application on your behalf for a fee if you would rather not deal with the paperwork.

Stump grinding is done on a tracked Rayco RG 1635, which takes a stump to around 30cm below ground level and leaves the spot ready for lawn or a garden bed. It will reach the awkward ones too, the stumps sitting up in raised beds where nothing else fits. Everything that comes off the job goes through a Vermeer BC 1500 chipper, so a 15 inch branch turns into mulch. We cart the debris away unless you tell us otherwise, we will cut the wood for firewood if you ask, and the mulch is yours if the truck has somewhere to dump it. Possum guarding is worth asking about, because most trees live happily alongside possums but some become overrun and their life gets cut short by it. We are also on call 24/7 for when a tree or a limb comes down unexpectedly, or when you suspect one is about to.
