Jethro Lampe owns and operates Lampe Tree Care and is a Level 5 Consulting Arborist, trained in Brisbane and locally. That level is what puts hazard assessments, arborist reports and tree schedules for council applications on the list alongside the climbing and cutting. Joseph Lampe, Cert III Arborist, is our lead supervisor and runs the crew on site, with Cert III Arborists Kye Duesbury and Toby Duesbury on the team, and between us we bring a combined 25 years in the tree care industry.

We work out of Skennars Head and currently provide tree services to Ballina, Lismore, Lennox Head, Alstonville, Byron Bay and the surrounding Northern Rivers. The work runs from a single tree at a house through to jobs for local councils, government, emergency services, real estate agencies and property developers, and our insurance covers us up to $20 million, which is what lets us take on local government contracts.

Confined areas are our specialty, and on a Northern Rivers block that is most of them. Where there is no clear drop and no room for a machine, we prune and remove in tight quarters and will talk you through the safest way it can be done before we start. Our 4x4 truck is set up so the chipper comes to the worksite instead of the brush being dragged out to the kerb, which keeps the extra costs off your bill, and the stump grinding is done with a limited access grinder that gets in where a full size machine cannot.

All our tree pruning is conducted to best practice and adheres to Australian Standard AS 4373, and deadwood removal clears the dead limbs out of a crown for the safety of whoever is underneath and the longevity of the tree. Where a tree removal is genuinely necessary we conduct it to local council and government guidelines. Fire zone and access clearing keeps a boundary in the state your fire plan calls for, mulch can always be retained on site free of charge, and we take on plantings from small stock through to established trees. Storm damaged or urgent work is not something to sit on, so call us straight away.
