Tree crown reduction gets its own line on our list of services, because up on Tamborine Mountain an oversized canopy catches a great deal of wind. Lowering and reshaping a crown takes weight and wind load out of a tree without compromising the structure underneath, and it often saves a tree that would otherwise be coming out. When a tree does have to go, our tree removal covers the diseased, the dead, the storm damaged and the plainly hazardous. We work each one down with the technique the site calls for, so the landscape around the tree is not torn up getting it out, and we clean the whole lot up before we leave you to it. On the rural blocks out this way that means the timber comes off the ground as well, not just off the tree.

Bringing the height down and sorting out the overgrown or awkwardly placed limbs is tree lopping, which lifts the safety and the look of a tree you intend to keep. The finer work is tree pruning: taking out the dead and crossing branches and encouraging strong, balanced growth through the rest of the canopy.

Once a tree is down, our stump grinding takes the stump below ground level, which clears the way for replanting, for landscaping, or simply for getting the space back. Our rubbish removal clears the branches, foliage and debris that tree work leaves behind, and garden cleanup goes further into the general overgrowth so a property stays manageable right through the growing season.
