Deciding which trees on a property are safe to keep and which have quietly become a hazard is not a judgement to make from the back door. Langham's Tree Services, known around here as Langtree, has been making that call for homeowners, businesses and councils across the Mid North Coast since 2004. We are led by an AQF Level 5 arborist, the highest arborist qualification in Australia, our team brings more than forty years of combined industry experience, and we are $20 million insured.

Our tree risk management exists for exactly that question. It starts with an on site tree risk assessment, moves to a risk rating and hazard identification, and finishes with an action plan that says plainly whether a tree should be pruned, supported or removed. Where you need it in writing, our detailed arborist reports are prepared for insurance, council or development applications. Before storm season and again before the fire season we come back and look at the trees a second time, because a tree that was sound in autumn is not automatically sound in spring.

That work goes out to councils and commercial property managers who carry public safety, to schools and childcare centres with trees standing over play areas, to real estate agencies managing large properties, to developers who need compliance settled before they build, and to homeowners with an ageing or storm damaged tree on their minds. The hands on work follows from what the assessment finds. Our tree pruning is carried out in compliance with Australian Standards and regulatory requirements, keeping a tree healthy and clear of buildings, powerlines and walkways. Tree removal is there for the trees the plan says cannot stay, our stump grinding takes the stump out so the ground can be used again, and our land clearing opens up overgrown ground, fence lines and building sites, backed by the machinery, trucks and proven safety systems a government or commercial job requires.
