Leaf and Limb Tree Services

Leaf and Limb Tree Services was started in 2013 by managing director Dylan Anderson and has grown from a one man contracting outfit into one of the more established tree firms in the Yarra Valley. It works out of depots at Healesville and Yarra Junction, and holds ISO certification for quality, safety and the environment, independently audited each year by SAI Global.

The business handles the full range of tree works and arboricultural services, from pruning and removals through to large scale vegetation management for councils, utilities and commercial sites. It also runs a mulch supply, turning the material it clears into mulch rather than sending it off as waste.

Work is split across government and council, commercial and residential clients, so the same crew that clears a suburban backyard also takes on contracts for the likes of Murrindindi Shire Council, Zoos Victoria at Healesville Sanctuary, and electricity distributors managing vegetation around their networks.

The team is set up with the resources and capabilities to respond quickly to emergencies and urgent works. During the 2022 floods it helped restore power to Wangaratta by removing a fallen tree from powerlines in the flood water, the sort of job that shows what a properly equipped crew can take on when things go wrong.
