Formative, deadwood, selective, thinning, lifting and side pruning: tree pruning covers a fair bit of ground, and all of it is work we take on. Lumberjacks WA is a family owned and operated business serving Perth out of a yard in Malaga. Our CEO Bryce Moore puts our approach as an old school service run on modern, advanced machinery. Every arborist here is qualified and trained, every job we do is fully insured, and we have never had to make a claim.

When a tree has to come out, its size is not what decides the job. Our crew and our machinery take on tree removal on residential and commercial blocks, and the stump grinding that follows, whether the stump is a leftover in a garden bed or something a good deal bigger. Palm trees need their own approach, being exotics, and we both maintain and remove them. With tree lopping we take branches and stubs off in a way that leaves the tree no worse off once we have gone. A qualified arborist runs every removal from start to finish.

What comes off a job does not go to waste here. Tree mulching puts organic material back around your trees to hold moisture in, even out the soil temperature and keep the weeds down. Mulch earns its keep in a garden bed, holding the soil together and deterring pests as it breaks down, and we hand out free organic mulch up to a certain load size, with delivery the only part that may cost you anything. Through the colder months we sell seasoned, sustainably sourced firewood, for pickup from the yard or delivered to the door.

Hedges are the other half of the business. We supply and maintain hedging plants including Lilly Pilly, Buxus and Murraya, so a boundary, a driveway or a garden bed gets some shape to it without you having to stay on top of the trimming yourself.

Our pricing is open. There are no hidden fees and nothing gets added after the fact, and we will tell you straight what a job involves before you commit to it. We are on the tools Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm, with Saturdays by appointment, and the Malaga yard is visited by appointment only.
