An old school service run on modern, advanced machinery is how Bryce Moore, our CEO, describes what we are aiming at, and it is a fair summary of Lumberjacks WA. We are family owned and operated, we work out of a yard in Malaga, and our trucks cover Perth. Every one of our arborists is qualified and trained, all of our work is fully insured, and we are proud to say we have never had to make a claim.

Size is not what decides a tree removal for us, because we have the crew and the machinery for it either way. A qualified arborist runs every removal from the first cut to the last load out, on residential and commercial blocks alike, and the stump grinding that follows takes out whatever is left, whether that is a leftover in a garden bed or something considerably bigger. Palm trees get handled on their own terms, being exotics, and we maintain them as well as remove them. With tree lopping the whole point is taking the branches and stubs off in a way that leaves the tree nothing to recover from afterwards.

Nothing that comes off a job here goes to waste. The timber gets chipped, and we hand that back as free organic mulch up to a certain load size, with delivery the only part that may cost you anything. Spread around a garden bed it holds moisture in, evens out the soil temperature, keeps the weeds down and deters pests as it breaks down. Through the colder months we also sell seasoned, sustainably sourced firewood, delivered to the door or picked up from the Malaga yard, which is open by appointment.

Hedges and pruning are the finer end of what we do. We supply and maintain hedging plants including Lilly Pilly, Buxus and Murraya, so a boundary, a driveway or a garden bed gets some shape to it without you having to stay on top of the trimming yourself. Our tree pruning takes in formative, deadwood, selective, thinning, lifting and side pruning, and which of those a tree wants comes down to what it is doing and what you need from it.

Our pricing is open. There are no hidden fees, nothing gets added after the fact, and we will tell you straight what a job involves before you commit to it. We are on the tools Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm, with Saturdays by appointment. Send an email with a few photos or a short video of the tree and we can usually tell you what it needs from that, or ring and talk it through with one of our arborists. Either way the quote costs you nothing.
