The mobile cherry picker we run reaches over 25 metres and is compact enough to get into a suburban back yard, which is how we get to the top of the tall ones. Maddington Tree Service is family owned and operated out of Maddington, with more than 25 years of tree trimming and lopping behind us. Shane and Wendy have been looking after some of the same properties for 13 years running.

Every job starts with a look at what the tree actually needs. Tree lopping and tree trimming bring a canopy back where it has grown out over a roof, a driveway or a fence line. Where a tree is past saving or simply in the wrong place, tree felling is the answer, and palm tree cutting gets the dead fronds and seed heads down before they come away on their own. Once a tree is out, stump grinding and removal takes what is left down below the surface so you can turf or pave straight over it.

Not every tree can be reached from a bucket, so we have high climbers on the crew for the ones that have to be roped and lowered. Everything that comes down goes through the chipper, and the wood and waste chipping means we take the mess away with us on the day. Our crews are trained and our arborists work to what is right for the tree, which now and then means telling you a tree can be kept. Between the cherry picker, the stump grinder and the chipper, we carry what a job needs on the truck, so there is no second visit just to bring gear back.

We work right through the southern suburbs of Perth, with regulars in Armadale, Orange Grove, Canning Vale and Martin. Our clients are private homeowners, landowners, developers, small businesses and large ones, and the job gets the same treatment whether it is one tree beside a carport or a whole block that needs opening up.
