Every member of our crew at Monkey Business Tree Service carries a current Federal Police Check, and the business is owned and run by John Blythe, a certified arborist and horticulturalist with more than thirty years in the industry. We are family owned and operated, a current Qualified Member of the Queensland Arboriculture Association, and fully insured. Those are the things worth checking before you let anybody put a saw into a tree on your property.

For tree removal we bring spider lifts, excavators and trucks in where there is room for them, and we climb where there is not. The same gear earns its keep on coast and canal tree works, which come with their own problems: soft ground, narrow reserves, and water sitting on one side of the tree while you are trying to rig off the other.

Tree pruning and lopping keeps a tree healthy and clear of the roof, the wires and the fence line, and stump grinding and excavation takes out what is left behind, roots included, when you want the ground usable again. Everything that comes off a job goes through the chipper, and our mulching and mulch supply means you can have it spread through your garden while we are there or delivered to you by the load.

On acreage we take on land clearing, weed control and fire breaks. Before the season turns we run pre-storm and fire inspections, so the weak limbs and the fuel load around a house get dealt with while there is still time to do it calmly. If a job needs a council approval, or the tree causing you grief is actually your neighbour's, we will talk you through where you stand before anything starts.

Our 24/7 emergency tree service runs every day of the year, and the insurance make-safe work goes with it, so a limb through a roof at two in the morning gets made safe on the night and documented properly for your claim. Our STIHL saws, chippers, stump grinders and trucks are all part of what lets us say yes to that call.
