The price we quote is the price you pay. There are no hidden extras on a Mr Trees job, and if the work turns out harder than it looked from the ground, that is our problem to solve and not yours to fund. The Inner West is a difficult place to take a tree down. Terraces sharing a wall, driveways two metres wide, back lanes with power over them, and blocks where the only way out for the timber is through the house. Confined access is what we have built our technique around, along with the precision that goes with it: a tree with no room around it comes down in small pieces, rigged and lowered, with somebody on the ropes the whole time.

We handle tree removal and tree felling where a tree has to go, and tree pruning, tree trimming and tree lopping where it is staying and simply needs to stop being a problem for your roof, your gutters or your neighbour. Palm tree removal is its own job with its own hazards, and once a trunk is out, stump grinding takes the remainder down so the ground can be used again.

We also prepare arborist reports for council applications and property matters, which on a tight inner suburban block is often what decides whether a tree can be touched at all. When something has already come down, or a limb is clearly about to let go, our emergency tree services get it dealt with. Thirty eight years in this work means we have seen how most of it fails, and we would rather be called before a limb lands than after.

Our patch runs about 13 kilometres out from Stanmore, taking in the Inner West council areas, the Eastern Suburbs and the Lower North Shore from Mosman across to Longueville.
