NJPS Tree Service

We're NJPS Tree Service, run by Nick, an owner-operator arborist with more than 15 years on the tools. From the first phone call through to the last barrow of mulch off the site, you deal with Nick himself, backed by office staff with more than 30 years of experience between them. Nick holds his AQF Level 5 consulting arborist and AQF Level 3 practical qualifications, is a qualified member of the Queensland Arboricultural Association and a QTRA registered arborist, and the business is fully insured, from public liability and professional indemnity to workcover and cover on the machinery. We work out of Sunnybank Hills on Brisbane's south side.

Because Nick assesses trees at consulting level and is registered for Quantified Tree Risk Assessment, we can handle the paperwork side properly: tree assessments and arborist reports, and protected vegetation works where a council permit or vegetation protection order is in play. On the ground, we take on tree removal and felling of every size, and for the big or awkward ones we bring in a cherry picker and a crane so a tree comes down in sections rather than all at once.

The rest of the work covers pruning, lopping and shaping to keep a tree healthy and in check, palm cleaning and removal, and stump grinding with a heavy-duty grinder built for the larger stumps, with woodchipping usually done on the same visit. We also run a fair bit of machinery: block and land clearing for a development site or a backyard project, levelling and ground prep, flail mowing for mechanical weed and vegetation control, and loader work for shifting material around.

We cover Brisbane's inner, eastern and southern suburbs, taking in Mount Gravatt, Wynnum, Sunnybank, Eight Mile Plains, Wishart and Cannon Hill. If you're just outside the Brisbane council area, get in touch and we'll let you know whether we can reach you.
