QTRA registration and an AQF Level 5 arboricultural qualification are what sit behind a report from NJPS Tree Service. Nick runs it as an owner operator with more than fifteen years in arboriculture, we hold AQF Level 3 as well, and we are a qualified member of the Queensland Arboricultural Association. The business is fully insured. If you are dealing with a council application or a neighbour dispute, those qualifications are the difference between an opinion and a document somebody has to take seriously.

That side of the work is tree assessment and arborist reports: a proper look at the tree, a considered view of the risk it does or does not present, and a written finding you can put in front of a council or an insurer. Protected vegetation works follow the same path, because on a protected tree the approval matters as much as the cut does, and getting that sequence wrong is an expensive mistake to unwind.

On the tools, tree pruning, trimming, lopping and tree shaping keep a canopy off the house and in some kind of balance, and tree removal takes out what cannot be kept, with the cherry picker and full climbing kit for the trees that are awkward to get at. Afterwards, stump grinding clears the stump out of the ground and wood chipping turns the rest into mulch instead of something you have to pay to dump.

We also run the machinery end of it. Block clearing and land clearing take a site back to workable ground, and our specialised machinery works cover levelling, ground preparation, mechanical weed and vegetation control, and the back yards that have gone too far to be brought back with a mower. On an overgrown block it is usually cheaper to bring a machine in once than to chip away at it by hand over several visits.
