Woodside, Rio Tinto, the Water Corporation, the City of Karratha and the Town of Port Hedland are among the organisations that keep us on long term contracts. North West Tree Services started up in Karratha in 1987 and is still 100% locally owned, with a team of qualified arborists, plant operators and supervisors behind three working directors. Our staff live here, so the trees we look after are in the streets and yards we drive past on the weekend.

A job with us usually starts with a look at the tree. Our detailed tree assessments and reports are done by our most experienced people and can cover every tree on a residential or commercial property, and they will tell you what is actually going on up there. Taking the tree out is not always what we come back with, because a tree that looks like a problem can often be brought back into shape for less than a removal costs. Tree and palm maintenance keeps a canopy healthy, safe and looking sharp in a climate that punishes neglect, and gets palms tidied up before the fronds and nuts become a hazard below them. When something does have to come out, we handle the removal and the stump grinding together, so you are not left with a stump and a mess in the yard once the truck has gone. We can also tell you what to plant, where to put it and how to get it in the ground, which in the Pilbara makes the difference between a tree that establishes and one that never does.

Pre-cyclone risk assessments are a job worth booking before the season, not during it, and we will go through your property with you so you know where you stand. Everything we do runs on a safety management strategy we built ourselves: risk assessments, SWMS reviewed every three months, weekly toolbox meetings, and programmed maintenance on every vehicle and machine we own. We are comprehensively insured, we are members of The Arboricultural Association of WA, and our tree work follows the Australian Standards.

Clients call us out right across the Pilbara and we are set up to mobilise to any town in it, including Dampier, Roebourne, Wickham, Point Samson, Port Hedland, Newman, Tom Price, Paraburdoo, Onslow and Pannawonica.
