The country north of Melbourne is a corridor, not a suburb, and it runs from quarter acre blocks through to open paddocks inside an hour's drive. Done in that order a site comes off ready to build on, fence, or run stock over, and you are not left paying twice because the undergrowth was never dealt with.

Where a tree has to go, we handle the tree removal. Where it can stay, tree pruning and tree lopping take care of the branches that have turned dangerous or been damaged in a blow. We cut hedges back into shape, take on tree maintenance as an ongoing arrangement for owners who would rather not think about it each year, and grind out the stump once a removal is done. On the bigger blocks we bring in bush mulching for the scrub.

For the question you cannot settle by looking up at a tree, there is an arborist report. We assess the health and the general safety condition of the tree, then say plainly whether it is a potential hazard to the properties around it, which is the form an insurer or a council wants it in.
