Sam and Teresa own and operate NSW Tree Services, and together with our staff we have spent more than ten years growing it into a family business that can deal with tree related matters at every level. Our ground staff hold Certificate II and III in Arboriculture and our arborists hold Certificate IV and V. We are members of both the National Arborist Association of Australia and the International Society of Arboriculture Australian Chapter, and we carry twenty million dollars of public liability cover along with professional indemnity and workers compensation insurance. When we are working in and around your biggest asset, you should be able to ask for every one of those things before anyone goes up a tree, and we would sooner hand them over than talk you round.

What we are aiming at is a comprehensive service that endorses, promotes and implements proper tree care practices, with an ethical approach to how the work gets done. We treat a tree as an investment that can lead to substantial returns, because a well kept tree adds to what your property is worth while a neglected one turns into a liability. Care, maintenance and management are what let trees and people share an urban block safely, and that holistic view of a tree sits behind every quote we write.

Where a tree has to go, we handle the tree removal and the stump grinding that follows it, and we bring in elevated work platforms for the trees that cannot safely or sensibly be climbed. For the trees that stay, we prune, deadwood and carry out tree surgery and lopping so the canopy is sound before the next storm tests it. Your green waste does not have to leave the property either: our wood chipping and mulch supply puts it back on the garden as mulch, we sell firewood, and we take on tree replanting when something needs to go back in the ground.

The consulting side of the business runs just as deep. We carry out arborist inspections and write arborist reports and assessments, the thorough assessment, evaluation and documenting of trees in their environments that councils and other authorities so often ask for. Builders and owners come to us for development tree assessments and construction impact assessments, and we take on project arborist work with ongoing monitoring once a site is live.
