O'Brien's Tree Care

Send us a photo of the tree and the ground around it, and we can price the job properly without anybody having to guess. That is how a quote starts at O'Brien's Tree Care, a family owned business established in Caboolture in 2010 and headed since then by Nick O'Brien, who has more than ten years on the tools across both tree work and landscaping. When you ring for a quote, Nick is who you deal with, start to finish, and he is a local of the Moreton Bay area himself.

We are fully insured arborists, carrying public liability cover up to $10 million and Work Cover on every job we complete. That counts for most on the work with real risk in it: tree removal over a house, a fence or a pool, and the pruning and maintenance that keeps a tree sound years before removal becomes the only option. Palm tree removal, stump grinding and root management for roots working into pipes, paving and slabs fill out the tree side of the business. If a Vegetation Protection Order covers your tree and you need a council permit, talk to us and we will tell you where you stand before you commit to anything.

The other half of what we do picks up once the tree is down. We take on land clearing for a block you are about to build on, along with mulching, turf laying and preparation, retaining walls, garden and landscape design and skid steer work, so one crew can carry a yard from cleared ground through to a finished garden and you are not chasing three different trades to get there. We also run Home Care and NDIS garden services, ongoing garden and vegetation management, bushfire and storm season garden preparation, and a recycled timber supply.

Our hours are Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm, with 24 hour emergency response and out of hours appointments on top of that. When a tree or a heavy limb comes down in a storm, we can attend day or night, clear what has fallen and stop it doing any more damage. While we are on site we will also look over the other trees on the property and tell you honestly which ones are likely to be trouble next time the weather turns.

We work across Caboolture and its surrounds, taking in Morayfield, Bellmere, Elimbah and Wamuran, out to Bribie Island with Bongaree, Banksia Beach and Ningi, through the North Brisbane suburbs of Burpengary, North Lakes, Mango Hill, Deception Bay and Clontarf, across Redcliffe, Beachmere and Pine Rivers, and up onto the Sunshine Coast through Caloundra, Beerburrum, the Glass House Mountains, Palmwoods and Maroochydore.
