A big tree hard up against a house comes out in sections, and how many sections depends entirely on the space available around it. That judgement gets made standing under the tree, and we have been making it since 1999, out of Langwarrin and right across the Mornington Peninsula. We remove dead or dangerous trees of any size, and on a tight site we dismantle them rather than drop them. Once the trunk is gone, stump removal and stump grinding deal with what is still in the ground, and that is worth doing properly: a stump can regrow, it can carry fungal disease, and it makes a comfortable home for pests. For a whole site we have the equipment and the manpower for block clearing, so a block can be handed over ready for whatever is going on it.

Working near service and utility lines is not something to improvise. Our service and utility line clearing is done certified with safe approach distances, the SADs ticket, so the trees come back off the wires with someone on the saw who is allowed to be that close to them. Fence line clearing is the neighbourly end of the same work: tidying up the fence line and dealing with what is hanging over into the property next door. Where a limb is at risk of failing we fit tree bracing, non intrusive bracing included, so it does not split in the first decent wind.

For the trees staying put, our tree pruning and surgery is carried out to Australian Standards, with dead wooding, lifting the canopy on trees carrying low foliage, and taking out limbs that have turned dangerous. After a blow we deal with storm damage, from uprooted trees and large dangerous limbs through to structural damage in a tree that is still standing. What comes off goes through the chipper on the spot, and our on site mulching handles trees up to twenty inches in diameter, so you can keep the mulch for your own garden or buy a load of it from us.
