OS Trees

Accreditation is the reason a tree crew is allowed onto a rail corridor or a government site at all. OS Trees is fully accredited under internationally recognised management systems and independently certified through JAS-ANZ, which holds our work to strict standards of workmanship, safety and environmental care across government, civil and rail environments. Our yard is at Orton Park outside Bathurst, and our arborists are qualified and experienced, including staff who work near roadsides and powerlines.

The everyday work is straightforward enough. Our tree removal takes out problem trees safely and efficiently, using methods suited to the Central West environment, and our pruning and hedge trimming reduces heavy limbs and tidies the branches interfering with gutters, driveways and the neighbours, while keeping natural light and visibility. After a removal our stump grinding deals with the stump that would otherwise be a tripping risk and a home for pests, and our mulching services cover both on site mulching and mulch supply, with green waste removal for whatever has to leave.

Storms are where the phone runs hot. Fallen limbs, split trunks and trees leaning against structures all get our 24 hour emergency response, and we attend during the weather rather than after it has finished, to make the site safer and take out the hazards that could still come down. Homes, farms, businesses, schools, councils and larger government projects all use that line.

The contract side is where we differ from a domestic tree service. Block clearing covers full site vegetation and debris clearance, land clearing goes out to commercial, civil and government projects, roadside clearing keeps road corridors managed safely, and our railway and infrastructure vegetation work operates in an environment with its own access rules and standards. Alongside it we take on rehabilitation, revegetation and renewables work, and our hollow augmentation puts nesting hollows back into retained trees, so a habitat tree that stays standing is worth something to the animals that were using it.

Our regions reach a good way past the Central West: Bathurst, Orange, Mudgee, Parkes and Forbes through Central West and Western NSW, the Riverina, the Snowy Mountains, Lithgow and the Blue Mountains, and out to Newcastle, Port Stephens, New England, Northern NSW and the Sapphire Coast.
