Three qualified arborists and climbers work at Paradise Tree Services, and we run up to three tree crews plus a dedicated stump grinding team out of Knuckey Lagoon. That makes us one of the larger privately owned arboreal companies in the Northern Territory, which is mostly useful to you because it means more than one job can be underway at a time.

An arborist is trained in the art and science of planting, caring for and maintaining individual trees, and is equipped to give a tree what it actually needs. Hiring one is not a decision to take lightly. Pruning or removing a tree, a large one especially, is genuinely dangerous work, and it belongs with people trained and kitted out to be up there safely. Everything we carry out is done to Australian Standards, we have kept an excellent safety record, and the crews are in regular ongoing safety training.

Good tree care is an investment that pays you back. A well looked after tree is attractive and adds real value to a property, while a neglected one becomes a liability, and the difference between the two is usually what has been done with the secateurs and the saw over the years. Pruning and removal is the everyday work, and the stump grinding team comes through behind it so you are not left staring at a stump in the middle of the lawn once the tree has gone.

Not every job needs a crew. Arboreal consultancy and written reports and advice are available on their own, so if you need someone qualified to set down what a tree is doing, whether it is worth keeping and what the risk looks like if it stays, we can do that without a truck turning up.

Before the wet, cyclone preparation is the job to get in early: weight out of the canopies, dead wood out of the crowns, and an honest look at the trees that will not stand up to a big blow. Afterwards, storm clean-ups put the block back in order.
