Pete's Treeworx

In 2008 Pete Broad started Pete's Treeworx with a Nissan Patrol, a trailer and a dream. Pete was killed by a falling limb in 2018, and safety has sat at the centre of everything we do since. Alex Wright leads the business now, with a growing team of arborists working out of Furnissdale. We are qualified and fully insured, and we run on eight values: safety, trust, reliability, community, nature, sustainability, education and respect.

We do our tree pruning with proven technique, keeping a tree's health and structure intact while making the ground around it safer, whether that ground holds a house, a workplace or a power line. Done properly, a mature tree keeps the shape it should have and stops being a problem for whatever is sitting underneath it.

When a tree has turned hazardous or is simply no longer wanted, our tree removal is carried out by qualified arborists working to strict safety protocols. Tree stump grinding and stump removal clear out what is left in the ground so the space is properly usable again, and we take the debris away with us and leave the site clean.

Our storm damage response covers rapid assessment and clean up after fallen limbs and weather damage, and the emergency call out is there for the situations that develop without any warning at all. On the bigger jobs, land clearing suits civil, commercial and development work on properties of any size, from a single overgrown block through to a staged site.

Our risk assessments give you a real evaluation of what a tree is doing, drawing on species knowledge and the local laws that apply to it, and they identify the trees worth preserving just as much as the ones that have become a genuine danger. Our arborist services and consulting run across residential, commercial and industrial clients, with proper depth in WA native vegetation and full adherence to Australian Standards. Our mulch delivery puts the byproduct of that work back into gardens where it does some good.

We work the City of Mandurah and the shires of Murray, Waroona, Harvey, Serpentine-Jarrahdale, Dardanup and Capel, along with Rockingham, Kwinana, Cockburn, Melville, Fremantle, East Fremantle, Gosnells, Armadale, Bunbury and Busselton.
