Councils put their tree work out to contract, and we hold that kind of work alongside the single tree in a back garden. Plateau Trees has been family owned since 1993, working across Sydney and the Central Coast, and the crews running our council tree removal and maintenance contracts and infrastructure maintenance are the same ones who turn up at a house in Chatswood.

That range is only possible with the paperwork to match it. We are JAS ANZ certified, a licensed member of the Tree Contractors Association of Australia, and members of both Arboriculture Australia and the Master Builders Association. Our arborists are qualified and fully insured, with public liability and workers compensation cover in place, and they work with specialised trucks and equipment built for the job.

On a residential property we take on tree removal, tree trimming and pruning, and the stump grinding that finishes a removal off underground. Where the gap wants filling, tree planting puts something better suited back in, and our landscape trees maintenance work keeps a whole planting in condition year on year, on a schedule you set, so nothing gets left until a limb is already sitting on the roof.

For strata committees and building managers we run strata tree services and management, and for larger sites we build commercial tree maintenance programs so the work is planned across a full year and budgeted before it is needed. Behind all of it sits our arborist consulting work, including arborist reports for council submissions and development applications, written by qualified consulting arborists who know what the assessing officer needs to see.

Our emergency tree service runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week within Sydney. When a tree comes down in a storm or a limb splits out over a driveway, one call gets a crew on the way to make the property safe and clear the debris.
