Glenn has been running Port Macquarie Tree Service since 1990, which makes us the crew a lot of the Hastings has called when a tree needs to come down or be brought back under control. More than thirty years of climbing experience sits behind the business, but so does the way the work is set up: our arborists are qualified, our groundsmen are trained to Level 3, every job is run to OH&S standards, and the business carries twenty million dollars in insurance. Between them that means the tree comes down safely and the risk stays with us, not with you.

Most of what we do is the everyday tree work a property throws up. We take on tree removal of any size, from a single tree that has outgrown the yard to a big one close to the house that needs the full crew and the right machinery to bring down in sections. We do tree pruning and shaping to keep a tree healthy, safe and in bounds, deadwood out and the canopy lifted where it needs to be, and stump grinding to take the leftover out below ground level so you can turf or plant straight over it. We have the gear for the awkward jobs too, the ones with tight access or a tree standing close to a building. Where roots are lifting paths or threatening pipes we handle root system management, and we plant trees as well.

Nothing off a job needs to go to landfill. We chip the branches on site and supply the results as garden mulch, and we cut and sell seasoned Australian hardwood firewood for the colder months. Leave a load of mulch on the garden beds or have us take the lot away, whatever suits, and either way your clean-up stays simple.

Storms and rot don't keep business hours, so we run a 24-hour emergency service right through the year. If a tree or a heavy limb has come down across a driveway, split in a blow, or gone unstable and started dropping wood, call us and we'll get a crew out to make it safe, day or night.

We cover Port Macquarie, the wider Hastings and the surrounding Mid North Coast, out to Laurieton, Wauchope and South West Rocks.
