Everything that comes off a job goes through our own timber mill and mulch trommel. That is how PowerClear recycles 100% of the by-product from our tree pruning and removal works, and it comes from the same thinking as the rest of the operation: do it in house and you can control it. Campbell Brooke, a qualified arborist, started the business more than twenty years ago and still keeps a hands-on approach to the management of every project.

We run up to 100 full-time staff and operate over 180 heavy pieces of machinery, with our own qualified operators and in-house mechanics keeping the fleet turning. Truck and chipper crews, stump grinders, elevated work platforms, water knife and hydro excavation units, air knife and soil injection units, water trucks, zero turn mowers and slashers, tub and horizontal grinders, forestry mowers, excavators and skid steer loaders with grapples and stick rakes all belong to us. We are ISO third party certified, and we work for local, state and federal government organisations and the infrastructure construction sector.

Emergency response and disaster management is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We keep designated crews across the South East who take home work vehicles set up specifically for call-out work, so the response time is not spent driving back to a depot first. Those crews hold Level 3 Advanced Tree Felling certification and run 4WD utilities with light towers for night works, chainsaw and climbing crews with 18 inch and 30 inch chippers, tandem tippers, rubber tracked excavators and skid steers with log grabs, and elevated work platforms from 12 metres up to 40 metres.

Large scale clearing and complex tree removal are the jobs we thrive on, and water knifing with hydro excavation lets us expose roots and buried services without cutting through them. We also lift and relocate mature trees with tree transplanting. Tree health care, tree planting and maintenance and tree pruning and removals cover the ongoing work, and our horticulture and landscape team handles turfing and landscaping to finish a site off properly.

Our consulting arborists produce tree reports, management plans and site data collection, and our climbing arborists carry out the pruning and removal work those reports call for.
