Our aim on any tree we touch is not to have to come back to it for some years. That is what tree management means at ProArb Trees: we work a tree for the best long term appearance and good structural form at the lowest long term cost to you. We are qualified arborists specialising in large tree removal and pruning, we run the business out of Fisher in Canberra's south, and we are a fully insured company.

Large removals are where our experience shows. When a tree is unhealthy, unsafe or simply a danger where it stands, we take it down and clear the site afterwards. We take on tree surgery where a job calls for more finesse than a straight fell, and our deadwood removal lifts the dying limbs out of a canopy before one of them lets go over a driveway or a play area.

For the trees you are keeping, our tree pruning shapes growth and pulls branches back from buildings, and our hedging holds screens and boundaries at the height and density you want them. We use our own equipment on all of it, which keeps us efficient and keeps the overall cost down, and we clean up after every job before we leave.

Below the ground we offer both stump grinding and stump excavations, so if grinding will not do the job, because the root plate has to come out before you build or pave, we can dig it out instead. What comes off the tree goes through the chipper, and our wood chipping and mulching turn it into material for your beds. Garden tidy ups and gutter cleaning round out the visit, which is worth booking in if you have big trees dropping leaf litter into the gutters every autumn.

Our consulting arborists produce site surveys, maintenance programs and tree management plans for the long term health of a stand of trees, and any arborist reports you need come from our in-house arborists. Hazard assessments are free, so if you are looking at a tree and cannot tell whether it is a genuine risk or just untidy, we will come and tell you which it is. Estimates are free as well.

We look after commercial and residential customers throughout the ACT and the nearby NSW region, and we run a 24/7 emergency call-out for the trees that will not keep until morning.
