Ranges Tree Service is run by David Pace, who has spent more than twenty years cutting and caring for trees across the Yarra Valley. Based around Healesville, David works the ranges seven days a week and carries full public liability insurance, so a job on a big or awkward tree is properly covered.

David handles tree removal of all sizes, including dangerous tree removal where a tree has become unstable or grown too close to a house, along with tree pruning to keep canopies healthy and clear of roofs and powerlines. Once a tree is down, stump grinding takes the remaining stump out so the ground can be used again.

Living and working in the ranges means storms are part of the job, so Ranges Tree Service also takes on storm damaged tree removal and runs around the clock, cutting trees Monday to Sunday, 24/7. When a limb comes down overnight or a tree splits in high wind, David can get out to make the property safe.

Twenty years working the same country means David knows the local trees and the steep, tight blocks that come with the hills, from awkward driveways to large gums on rural properties. It is very much his own operation rather than a large crew, with an emphasis on turning up promptly and leaving a tidy site behind.
