About This Business
A rope and a climber will get a tree out of a space no machine is ever going to reach, and that is what Ranges Tree Works is built around. Bo owns the business and climbs it, with more than ten years on the difficult removals, so confined space tree removal is work we set the crew up for: a tree boxed in by a house on one side, a fence on the other and a carport underneath, with nowhere to drop a thing.
Before anyone leaves the ground we assess the situation for risks, identify exactly what could be damaged and plan the removal to cut that risk down. Then the climber goes up, dismantles the tree in sections and every piece comes down on a rope. Matt runs the precision lowering of branches and timber, Nadine plans the job and has more than ten years of rope work of her own, Maggs drives and works the equipment, and Elms handles the chipping. The slightest miscalculation swings a limb into a building or drops it further from the base than you intended, which is why none of that sequence gets improvised.
Ranges Tree Works was established over fifteen years ago and sits in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges. It is a family business. Nadine and Bo are co-owners and both still work in the field, and Tracey, who founded it, is on hand to advise. Our arborists are internationally accredited, the crew brings more than thirty combined years to the job, and we carry public liability insurance and Work Cover. You will find us across Belgrave, Ferntree Gully, Ferny Creek, Kallista, Monbulk, Olinda, Sassafras, Selby, Tecoma and Upwey.
Beyond the tight ones we take on dead tree removal, tree removal near power lines, and emergency tree removal with storm damage cleanup once the weather has been through. For trees staying where they are, tree maintenance takes in crown lifting, dead wooding, tree shaping and tree weight reduction, and we grind out what is left with stump removal. If you want the timber, we will leave the mulch or the wood on site for you, and we sell mulching on by the truck load, up to twelve cubic metres for $150 including delivery.
The assessment and the quote are both free. Ring 0438 380 674 or email [email protected], tell us what the tree is and what is sitting around it, and one of our arborists will come out and give you a straight opinion on the best course to take. We leave your property tidy when we go.
