Cherry pickers, cranes, grinders, chainsaws and full safety gear will handle most of what a tree job asks for. What none of them will do is get up a mature gum in a back garden with a shed on one side and a fence on the other, and that is where our climbers earn their keep. Rapid Tree Solutions has worked Ballarat since 2011 out of Delacombe, Adam still runs it as a family business, and what began as one person is now ten arborists.

Our tree climbing is spikeless. We use rope based techniques and specialised equipment to get into the upper canopy without driving spikes into a tree we have only been asked to prune, and the same approach covers deadwooding, sectional work and any branch that nothing on wheels is going to reach. Mature and advanced native gums are usually what calls for it. Our climbers are licensed, qualified and certified, their rigging techniques are kept current, and we will back them against anyone in the district.

Ballarat and all the surrounding areas is how we describe the patch, and the list behind that is long. Tree removal comes with tree stump removal, stump grinding, tree root removal and tree clearing behind it, and two removals carry their own listing because they are their own problems: gum tree removal and fig tree removal. On the maintenance side we cover tree pruning, hedge trimming, palm tree pruning and fruit tree pruning. We also treat trees that are sick instead of dangerous, and we name what we treat: root rot, cypress canker and anthracnose.

The consulting end runs to arborist reports, tree risk assessments, tree preservation and tree planting, and we deal with the local council on regulations and guidelines so you are not the one working them out. We take on commercial and residential work and insurance jobs, and emergency tree services run 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so there is always somebody to ring.
