In August 2023 Beau Bathurst spent two days in the canopies at Kings Park Botanic Gardens, pulling the light sticks back out of some of Perth's most treasured trees after the Lightscape show finished, working alongside four of the state's most senior arborists. Beau leads Real Tree Solutions from Kingsley and was one of the first tree surgeons in Western Australia to hold a tradesman certificate. He holds AQF Level 3 in Arboriculture and Senior First Aid, and 20 million dollars of public liability insurance sits behind every job, whether it is a heritage canopy or the fiddlewood beside your shed.

The everyday version of that climbing is what we do for homes and councils around Perth. A tree in decline, a palm showing signs of decay, a gum too close to a service line, a block that needs opening up for an extension: each one gets a plan worked out before the first cut so nothing comes down on what is standing around it. Our crew is licensed and certified to Australian standards, trained on the stump grinders and chippers, and in gloves, goggles and hard hats from the moment we are on site. Not every tree is yours to take out. Routine jobs run weekdays between 8am and 5pm, with weekend appointments when the week does not suit you.
