A branch sitting into a power line is not a job to hand to whoever answers the phone first. Rick's Trees is accredited by EvoEnergy, which means our team is fully trained in electrical safety and works to EvoEnergy's Service and Installation Rules, and that we carry the resources, the insurance and the experience to work on and near that network. Trees growing hard against power lines, buildings and other infrastructure are a regular part of what we are called out to, and the accreditation is what lets us deal with them properly.

When weather brings something down, our 24/7 emergency tree service answers at any hour. That covers fallen tree removal where a trunk has landed across a driveway, a roof or the lines, storm damage cleanup where branches are broken and trunks have lifted out of the ground, and branch and limb removal where something large is hanging and has not come down yet. Tree emergencies do not wait for business hours, so neither do we, and on the power line side we work in closely with the utility provider so the line is dealt with as carefully as the tree.

Day to day we are based in Goulburn and work through Canberra, Moss Vale, Bowral, Mittagong and the surrounding areas. Our certified arborists take on tree removal where a tree is hazardous, pest infested or standing in the way of a build, and we work alongside property developers so that what comes out is compliant with local regulations before anyone starts. Stump removal finishes those jobs off, and where a whole block needs opening up, our site clearing, land clearing and mulching deal with the waste so it leaves the property with us.
