A spider lift, a run of Avant loaders and excavators, and a yard at Warner to keep them in. That fleet is the reason River City Trees can prune a tree, take one out, replant the gap and landscape the ground afterwards without you having to line up three separate contractors. Bart Wills owns and runs the business, he holds a Diploma of Horticulture in Arboriculture along with a Diploma of Landscaping, and he has grown this from a small home based tree operation into a certified, endorsed company working right across South East Queensland for more than twenty years.

Our people carry Cert III in Horticulture (Arboriculture) and ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification, we are ISO certified and fully insured, and our policies are downloadable from our own site rather than something you have to request. We know our trees, and we would rather help you uproot your worries than the tree itself, which is why the first visit is spent working out the right answer for your property before anyone starts a saw.

Regular tree pruning and trimming keeps established trees balanced, healthy and standing where you want them, and tree removal handles the dead, the dangerous and the ones simply planted in the wrong place forty years ago. When the weather turns, our emergency storm tree services get crews out fast to clear fallen limbs and hazardous trees so a property can be made safe again.

The bigger and more involved work is where the machinery earns its keep. Tree clearing opens up overgrown blocks, tree transplanting relocates an established tree rather than losing it, and tree planting puts valuable greenery back into a site. Where roots have started travelling where they should not, root barrier installation protects paths, pipes and foundations, and our commercial programmed maintenance keeps trees across commercial sites and council land safe and healthy through the year. We work with the City of Moreton Bay, Brisbane City Council, Redland City Council and Somerset Regional Council, so we know what compliance actually looks like on the ground.

To finish a site, stump grinding and stump removal clears what is left in the ground, soft landscaping puts the space back together, and our aged forest mulch is supplied and delivered for gardens and grounds.
