Riverina Tree Fellas

Riverina Tree Fellas was established in 1999, which puts a quarter of a century behind the business, and it is still family owned and operated. The crew works out of Gobbagombalin on the northern edge of Wagga Wagga, servicing homes and businesses across the Riverina. The tone on the site is unfussed and a bit fond: they keep trees happy, they care about tree care.

Tree removal and tree felling are the bulk of it, with tree lopping and stump grinding alongside. Tree pruning comes bundled with canopy management, which is the difference between cutting a tree back and actually shaping how it will grow over the next few seasons. Hedging covers the boundary work. Firewood is sold on request rather than as a standing line of business.

The service worth noticing is disease and pest management. Most tree outfits will take a sick tree out; fewer will look at why it is sick first. In an inland climate like the Riverina, where drought stress, borers and dieback all compound each other, an assessment before the chainsaw is often the difference between losing a mature tree and keeping it. The stated goal is finding the safest course of action for a troubled tree, which is not always removal.

Emergency tree removal runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, on the same number as everything else. Regular trading is Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm, closed weekends, but a split limb or a tree across a driveway after a summer storm does not have to wait for Monday morning.
