Five qualified and experienced arborists work at Rob's Tree Service, and Rob still handles all the major removals, the maintenance and the climbing himself. We are set up for the Latrobe Valley, with the gear behind us to work safely around the trees on your property whatever their type or size. The point of it is simple enough: get your home and your yard clear of anything a tree might do to them.

Trees get sick and trees die, and part of our job is telling you honestly where yours sits. We can give you a read on the life expectancy of a tree and how much longer you are likely to keep it. When one is dead, diseased, damaged or just standing somewhere dangerous, full tree removal is the answer, and taking down a big one is not a do it yourself job. It wants the right machinery and someone who has done it plenty of times before.

Tree pruning and shaping keeps a tree healthy and strong and holds it to a shape that suits the yard it is standing in. Pruned correctly, a tree needs less work later and is far less likely to turn into a safety problem down the track. We will also tell you how to look after your trees between visits and what to expect from them as they grow. Hedge trimming keeps a boundary neat and the privacy where you want it, shaped to sit properly with the rest of the garden.

Stump grinding deals with what stays in the ground. A stump left alone can start shooting again, or it can rot and become a home for fungus and decay that spreads into the plants around it, and either way it is something to catch a foot on. We grind them below ground level without tearing up the rest of the yard. If a tree looks as though it or part of it might come down, ring Rob and the team straight away, and if something has already fallen, our quick response emergency crew will be out to you.

We service Traralgon, Morwell, Moe, Churchill, Tyers, Yallourn North, Newborough, Hazelwood North, Rosedale, Glengarry, Toongabbie, Erica, Rawson and Thorpdale, along with the rest of the Latrobe Valley.
