SA Tree and Garden Services

Horticulturists started SA Tree and Garden Services, and that is still how we look at a job: the tree, and everything growing around it. We work out of Seacliff Park across South Australia, on houses and on commercial properties. Every job runs the same way, an on-site consultation first, then a booking with the site prepared properly, then the work itself and the clean-up. Quotes are free and we come out for them rather than pricing a tree we have never seen.

Significant and regulated trees are what we specialise in, along with storm damage and bushfire prevention work. A protected tree cannot simply be booked in and cut down, and the approval side is where these jobs stall, so we will tell you where your tree sits and what is involved before you commit to anything.

When a tree has turned hazardous, or is just in the wrong spot, we look over the site first, take it down cleanly and grind the stump below ground level so you can run lawn or ground cover straight over the top. Access, what sits under the tree and what is beside it all change how a removal gets done, which is why the site visit matters. Stumps of any size are fine, including the ones left behind by somebody else. Not every tree needs to go, though, and tree pruning at the right time of year keeps the growth healthy and the shape sensible, so we will say so when a prune will do the job.

Garden maintenance runs alongside the tree work: regular mowing and trimming, seasonal clean-ups, and putting a garden back in order when it has got away from you. We also do gutter cleaning, clearing blockages before they turn into water damage, plus pressure washing and cobweb removal while we are on the property. Getting the lot done in one visit saves you booking three different trades and three different days.

Sustainability is not a badge on the website for us. We work to keep the ecosystem in your yard intact, recycle what comes off a job where we can, and pick the option that leaves the garden healthier for it. Plenty of what we take out goes back on as mulch.
