SA Tree and Garden Services works out of Seacliff Park across Adelaide and South Australia, on houses and on commercial properties, and every job runs the same three steps: an initial consultation, then scheduling and site preparation, then the work itself and the care that follows it.

A run of recent jobs looks like this. A council pre-approved Agonis flexuosa, the native willow myrtle, came out at Panorama along with its stump. Another one, around 10 metres, came out at Mitcham, also pre-approved. A jacaranda came down at Unley Park for a customer we've now been back to four times, having already taken a tree out and ground the stump on earlier visits. And in one day the stump grinding team got through three jobs across Seacliff, Seacombe Gardens and Unley Park.

Significant and regulated trees are our specialty, along with storm damage work and bushfire prevention. A protected tree can't simply be booked in and taken out, and the council approval is where these jobs stall, which is why two of those removals are described as pre-approved before a saw ever came out. When a tree has turned hazardous, or is simply in the wrong spot, we assess the site first, take it down cleanly and grind the stump below ground level so lawn or ground cover can go straight over the top. Stumps of any size are fine, including the ones somebody else left behind. Not every tree needs to go, though, and tree pruning at the right point in the year keeps growth healthy and the shape sensible, so we'll say so when a prune will do the job.

The garden side runs alongside the tree work. Garden maintenance covers regular mowing and trimming through to seasonal clean-ups, and while we're on the property we'll clear blocked gutters before they turn into water damage, then handle pressure washing and cobweb removal if you want them done. We work to sustainable practice throughout, keeping the natural ecosystem in your yard intact and recycling what comes off a job wherever we can.
