About This Business
Our 19 metre travel tower stands only two metres tall folded down, weighs 2.5 tonnes and drives itself in on its own wheels. That combination gets it into places a truck mounted setup simply cannot reach, and on a lot of blocks it is the difference between working a tree from solid ground and not being able to price the job at all. It is the machine we reach for first at South Gippsland Tree Care.
The depot is in Korumburra, and we serve South Gippsland and the Bass Coast: Inverloch, Wonthaggi, Leongatha, Loch, Bena, Poowong, Kongwak, Jumbunna, Nyora, Kernot, Venus Bay, Tarwin Lower, Meeniyan, Walkerville, Koonwarra, Bass, Grantville, Fish Creek, Foster, Mirboo North, Pound Creek, San Remo and Phillip Island.
The rest of the fleet was chosen on the same logic. Our little green Bandit ZT1844 stump grinder fits through a standard house doorway, so stump removal can happen practically anywhere on a property without the garden being pulled apart to get to it. The mini loader is a metre wide with a turf friendly articulating design and shifts close to a tonne, which moves mulch, logs, dirt and rock without wrecking the lawn on the way through. A 12 inch Bandit and an 18 inch Vermeer industrial woodchipper turn branches and whole trees into mulch, and that mulch is yours to keep or have taken away at no extra cost. We do hire the machines out, but only with a trained and insured operator on them.
Evan Enbom founded the business in 2015. He is a local arborist and a father of two, and there are four Certificate III Arborists on staff, so the advice you get from start to finish comes from someone qualified to give it. We carry 20 million dollars of public liability, WorkCover for our employees, and robust OH and S procedures behind both. Our arborists and rope men handle tree removals with no mess left behind, and the tree pruning runs from small ornamentals through to large feature trees, including the parts of them that look unreachable from the ground.
Elm Leaf Beetle is worth singling out. We are qualified to administer insecticide injections for it, which do far less damage to the surrounding environment and need many times less chemical to be effective. The treatment is residual in the tree and often lasts three years or more. Spring is when elms are best treated, so if you have them it pays to get the call in before the season gets away from you.
Evan is also an AQF Level 5 Consulting Arborist with TRAQ and VALID tree risk assessment training and over 10 years in the field, and he takes bookings for tree reports: preliminary arboricultural assessments, arboricultural impact assessments, development impact reports, tree management plans, tree protection plans and tree risk assessments, for homeowners, schools, builders, councils and rural properties. We sell fresh mulch delivered by the cubic metre in loads of roughly six to fifteen metres, and we take on tree planting as well, either as part of a landscaping job or to replace something we have taken out. Ring 0477 131 599 or book online, and the quote is free.
