About This Business
South Gippsland Tree Care was started in 2015 by Evan Enbom, a local arborist and father of two, and it has kept a family feel since. The crew includes four Cert III arborists, treated, in Evan's words, like family, so the team that turns up is a motivated, friendly one rather than a rotating cast of subbies.
The core work is tree removal and tree pruning, handled by qualified climbing arborists and skilled rope men who can get into the trees others cannot reach. From small ornamentals to large feature trees, a tree is pruned for shape and health, and removals are done cleanly with no mess left behind.
Beyond the standard tree work, orchard pruning is a specialty, from annual maintenance prunes to full restorations of neglected fruit trees, which is not something every tree service takes on. Hedge trimming rounds out the shaping side, restoring an overgrown hedge to a straight line and keeping it that way.
Stump removal takes out the old stump without tearing up the surrounding garden, and the business runs a solid range of equipment to process, lift, load and cart away tree waste, with wood chipping and mulching to deal with the offcuts. As they put it, they will trim it, cut it, prune it, remove it, split it, mulch it and grind it. Tree reports are also available where a written assessment is needed.
Backed by 20 million dollars of public liability cover, WorkCover and OH&S procedures, the business covers South Gippsland and the Bass Coast, taking in Korumburra, Leongatha, Inverloch, Wonthaggi, Meeniyan, Foster, Mirboo North, Venus Bay, Nyora, Phillip Island and San Remo among many others. Safety is put first on every job.
