Down the southern tip of the Mornington Peninsula, access is usually the hard part of the job. Between the coastal blocks and the driveways you would not get a truck up, getting the gear to the tree decides how the whole day goes. That stretch is ours. Access is exactly why our four wheel drive ute has a tipper on it. It gets down driveways and into back yards a bigger truck would never fit through, and it lets us mulch almost any cuttings where they fall, so nothing has to be dragged out to the street first. What we chip can stay on your garden beds if you want it there, and the larger wood gets cut down into firewood sizes before we leave.

Sometimes the removal of a tree is simply necessary, and confined space removals on trees of every size are what our crew is built around. A mature tree that has died, copped storm damage or outgrown what the block can hold comes out around the house, the fences and the garden without any of them wearing the damage. If you want something back in its place, we will recommend a species that suits the spot. Where a tree can stay, our pruning runs from formative pruning on young trees and dead wood through to weight reduction on established ones, and all of it is carried out to Australian Standard AS4373-2007.

Once the tree itself is gone, stump removal gets what is left out of the ground so the space is worth something again. We work in commercial and domestic gardens alike, and because access decides so much of what a job costs down here, it is worth having someone stand in front of the tree before anyone quotes a number.
