Our arborists are qualified, certified and insured, we carry $20 million in public liability cover, and the gear is maintained to Victorian and Australian standards along with the occupational health and safety requirements that come with them.

Through the west that takes in Footscray, Albion, Braybrook, Brooklyn, Altona, Williamstown, Hoppers Crossing, Wyndham Vale, Werribee and out as far as Melton. Tree removal takes on everything from a dead gum on a narrow block to a whole row that has to go before a build starts, and where the tree does not need to come out entirely, tree lopping brings it back instead. The maintenance side is tree pruning, trimming and hedging: deadwood out, clearance cut back off roofs and power lines, hedges held to shape. Once the tree is down, stump removal and grinding gets the stump out of the ground so you can turf or plant over the spot. Emergency tree removal runs 24 hours a day for storm damage and anything that has come down where it should not have.

Not much of what we cut actually leaves the property. It goes through the chipper and straight back to work as mulch, spread around root zones and through garden beds to an even 5 to 7 centimetres, which holds the moisture in and keeps weeds down without smothering the roots. We can prepare the soil first, lay landscape fabric underneath as a weed barrier, or top up beds where the old mulch has broken down, which is worth doing every one to two years. If you only want the mulch supplied we deliver in bulk across metropolitan Melbourne, in hardwood and softwood, composted for feeding soil, blended for erosion control, or dyed red, brown or black. The heavier timber goes out through firewood sales.
