The Clean Cut Bloke

Most of the jobs we book are finished inside ten to fourteen business days. The Clean Cut Bloke started in the Douglas Shire in 2008 and moved down to Ingham in 2013, and Richard and Rebecca Warden run it between them, with Richard as head arborist. We are qualified and fully insured, we carry twenty million dollars of public liability, and every one of our staff is formally trained in the OH&S practices this work needs.

A tree that has outgrown its spot, one that has turned unsafe, and one that simply wants looking at every year or two all come to the same crew. Our tree removal deals with any size the gear can reach, and our tree maintenance looks after the trees you are keeping: canopy shaping and lifting for clearance over a driveway, a roof or a fence line, and selective pruning to keep a tree balanced instead of lopsided.

Palms want their own attention up here, so palm cleaning and removal is part of the job list, dead fronds and all. Everything that comes off runs through the chipper, and our chipping and mulching takes branches and logs up to 30 centimetres across. If you want the mulch left on site, tell us where you want it dropped before we start and that is where it will be.

Our stump grinding takes the stump out below ground level so the space goes back to lawn, garden bed or paving with nothing left to work around. We also take on general property maintenance for people who would rather have one number to ring about the grounds. The tipper truck and chipper we bought new in 2018 mean all the waste leaves with us and your place is left the way we found it.

Every tree is different, so we come and look at yours in person before we put a number on it. We cover the whole of the Hinchinbrook Shire and now the Cardwell area as well, with anywhere further out by appointment. We work six days a week including Sundays, and we are closed Saturdays.
