Builders ring us before the excavator turns up, because tree protection zone fencing needs to be standing before a site gets busy rather than after somebody has driven across a root plate. The Tree Cutting Company has been working Sydney's north for more than 20 years out of Beecroft, our arborists are qualified and licensed, and we are an active member of Arboriculture Australia.

Our insurance is written for amenity tree industry work, and it covers the whole scope of what we do: pruning, trimming, repairing, maintaining, transplanting and removing trees, along with wood chipping, stump grinding and the operation of the machinery that does it. On a strata roof or a building site, that is the paperwork that decides whether a crew can start at all.

We take trees out large and small, from a dead wattle at the back fence to a full grown eucalypt with a house one side and a pool the other. Where a tree is staying, tree pruning and maintenance and branch trimming and removal keep it sound and off the roofline, and once a tree removal is finished we follow it with stump grinding and removal, taking the stump below ground level so the spot can be replanted, turfed or paved. What comes off the job can go back out as mulch delivery if your garden beds need topping up.

On development work we take on land clearing for development sites, sequenced so the machinery is never working over the trees the consent says are staying. For strata committees and rental property managers we run strata and rental property tree services, which gives you one number for every building on the portfolio and gets the trees looked at before a tenant has to report them.

When something comes down in a storm or a limb is left hanging over a driveway, our emergency tree work crew makes the site safe and clears it. Twenty years of doing this in the same suburbs means we know which trees around here fail and how, so we will flag a weak union or a heavy overextended limb while it is still a pruning job.
